The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has announced a much larger replacement museum and said it is intended to meet visitors in 2026. However, the official sources checked by Going2Turkey do not publish a confirmed reopening date yet.

If you are travelling now, use this page to understand the collection and choose an alternative such as Perge, Aspendos or Side instead.
