What Going2Turkey is
Going2Turkey is an independent travel-planning website focused on Turkey’s places, attractions, tours and activities. The goal is simple: explain what a place is like, what is worth seeing and which organised experiences may make a visit easier.
How recommendations work
Guides are written to be useful before affiliate links appear. A booking link does not replace practical advice, and travellers should always compare current inclusions, cancellation terms and suitability.
How to use our Turkey travel guides
Start by choosing your destinations and the number of days you have. Our travel guides explain practical decisions such as whether a route is easier by bus, flight or rental car, which attractions are close enough to combine and when a guided experience might help. For a first visit, use the Turkey travel guides hub to compare itineraries, travel costs and getting-around advice before booking anything.
How we approach travel information
Travel advice is most useful when it answers a clear question. We aim to give a quick explanation first, then cover the important alternatives, practical details and common mistakes to avoid. Where relevant, we connect destination guides with attractions, day tours and activities so readers can make their own choices instead of being pushed toward a single booking.
Information about transport, entry rules, admission arrangements, prices and tour inclusions can change. Please confirm time-sensitive details using official sources and the current provider information for your actual travel dates. A guide is planning help, not a promise that a particular price, service or opening time will be available.
Corrections, questions and affiliate transparency
Found an outdated detail or want to suggest a correction? Use our contact page to tell us which guide needs attention and what information has changed. Some useful booking options on this website are affiliate links. You can learn how these work on our affiliate disclosure page. Comparing options is always your decision.
