Use the middle of the afternoon for the longer walking section while there is still plenty of daylight.

Hike if you want the landscape; book an activity if you want a shorter structured experience.

No. They are connected valley areas with overlapping trail networks, but Red Valley is especially known for sunset colour while Rose Valley is often used for longer hiking routes.
How long should I allow?
A quick viewpoint can take under an hour. For a proper Red–Rose hike, allow roughly two to four hours depending on your route, pace and photo stops.
Do I need to pay an entrance fee?
The valleys are open landscapes rather than one single ticketed museum. Parking, private viewpoint or local facility charges can vary, so follow current signs at your chosen access point.
What is the best time to visit?
Late afternoon is best for the famous warm colours and sunset. For a longer hike in hot months, start earlier and finish at sunset rather than doing the whole walk in the hottest part of the day.
Can I hike without a guide?
Yes, but use a current route source and stay aware of trail forks. If navigation makes you uncomfortable, join a guided hike or organised activity instead.
Are the trails difficult?
