Cappadocia cooking classAfter breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to the local market to see and taste the fresh fruit, vegetables, and nuts, which all grove by local around Cappadocia. we will do the shopping for our cooking class at this local market. Then we will drive to the beautiful village of Ibrahimpasa, a small but very interesting place with beautiful scenery overlooking a valley flanked by old houses with great decorative stonework. We will start off with a short walk through the village where, depending on the season, we may see women making flatbread, taking the seeds out of pumpkins, or making pekmez (grape syrup).

We will also get to talk to the villagers and ask them questions. After having a cup of Turkish tea or coffee at the village teahouse, we will start our Cappadocia cooking lesson with the local women. The food prepared will be our lunch! After lunch, we will go to see one of the local farms.
